RAFFLES

As in past years, the generosity of local hobby shops, train show vendors, model manufactures, as well as individuals, allows us to hold day-long raffles of model railroad items in multiple scales.

Take part in the Red, White, Blue and Green Raffles. Tickets will be sold all day up until the raffle begins after the last two clinics end, no later than 5:30 PM.

• Red tickets may be purchased for the higher value items. You designate the item(s) you hope to win. There will be both model railroad and non-model railroad items.
• White tickets are included in your registration envelope at no extra charge and good for all door prizes.
• Buy Blue tickets for the mixed gauge and miscellaneous items of various values.
• Green tickets are for the 50/50 raffle with the lucky winner splitting the cash pot with the division. The winner need not be present to collect. Good luck!

Remember to bring cash for the raffles (and for making purchases at the White Elephant Sale) as we are unable to accept credit or debit cards.

A complete list of the donors will be available soon on this site and at the Jamboree. Please make every attempt to patronize these businesses and when you do, tell them you attended the Jamboree and appreciate their donation.

A Final Note Regarding Donations – We Can Always Use More

The raffle makes it possible for us to hold this annual event in a quality venue like RMU. Without the raffle proceeds the registration fee would be substantially higher for all. The donations we rely on from hobby shops, train show dealers and national manufacturers/distributors become more difficult to get every year.

With that in mind, if you have new model railroad items you no longer need or want, please consider donating. You can bring them to the division meetings in January, February or March. Not attending a meeting, just bring the morning of the Jamboree.
