Kevin Kuzman
This HOn3 Rio Grand Southern layout occupies an 11 x 23 ft. basement room. It is set in the time period of the late 1940's to early 1950's and focuses on the area around the famous Vance Junction. Control is with DCC. Kevin writes, "Is has L-girder bench work with plaster hard shell terrain and is topped with RGS rock and dirt. The layout has mostly scratched built structures and hand painted backdrops. The engine roster is mostly brass with kitbashed rolling stock of plastic, wood, and brass." While this is all true, it doesn't do justice to his meticulous modeling, which will make you feel as if you have actually been teleported back to Colorado to watch the RGS in action.
